ZELA’s headquarters are located in Qamishli, Al-Hasakah, Syria, where the organization coordinates its programs, projects, and activities in cooperation with local communities, civil society organizations, and relevant stakeholders. From its headquarters, ZELA works to advance environmental protection, sustainable development, community empowerment, and inclusive participation, with a focus on responding to local needs and promoting sustainable, community-driven solutions.

In Germany, ZELA cooperates with the European Centre for Kurdish Studies (EZKS), a German partner organization, to support institutional coordination, communication with international partners, and engagement with institutions, donors, and other relevant stakeholders. This partnership contributes to strengthening international cooperation, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise, and developing joint initiatives aligned with ZELA’s mission and objectives, while advancing sustainable development, community participation, and positive social change.
